won't DVD burn
I bought a new computer HP AMD Processor 64 X2 Dual Core 4200. When I edited my video then transfer to DVD burn but iIt won't copy disc. I don't know why. do you know anything?
Very little to work with here, but the most likely reasons for your issue are 1) you have another program like Roxio or Nero conflicting with Video Studio, in which case the program would need to be disabled or uninstalled; 2) you need to change the blank media that you are trying to burn to and try another brand. There are other possibilities, but start with those.

To clarify one of TDK's comments: it is not the whole of the Nero or Roxio suites you need to disable or uninstall. It is the packet writing software, which in Nero is the InCD module. That has to be totally uninstalled, because it does not allow internal disabling. I can never remember the specific module within the Roxio suite, but it performs similar functions to InCD. However, it apparently does allow itself to be internally disabled, so you don't have to uninstall it.
Another thing that might be wrong is that you have edited your project and then jumped a step, and gone straight to burn your project. While this is possible, a lot of people have a lot of problems when they do it. Instead, you should, after editing, go to Share > Create Video File > DVD, and produce a new, DVD-compatible mpeg-2 file. Then, and only then, you close your project, open a new one but leave the timeline empty, and go to Share > Create Disc > DVD. Insert the new mpeg-2 file(s) in the burning module which opens, check that the burning properties are exactly the same as the properties of the mpeg-2 (middle icon in the bottom left of the burning screen), create your menus and burn.
