Anchor Point for Orientation Adjustment?

Post by zylogic »

Hello Gang!

I'm making a movie slate that claps. I've got everything looking pretty nice, but I can't figure out howt o make the bottom corner of the clapper my anchor point when I adjust the orientation.

By default all objects are anchored dead center. This doesn't sell the clap very well. If anyone knows a way to change where the rotation is centered, please let me know!

Cheers!

Select the clapper object and bring it up in the Path Editor by clicking on the Edit Object icon. Move the object in the Path Editor window until the bottom corner of the clapper aligns on the red crosshair in the center of the screen. That should do it. The object should now pivot on the bottom corner of the clapper.

Hope that helps

I too was trying to make something like that but my problem is my clap consists of a group of objects. So how do I set the point to a group ?
