xvid out of sync on video studio plus
I have imported avi xvid files to video stuido but in the timeline its all out of sync so is the saved file i make, has this happened to anyone else?

If you do a search for xvid you will find a myriad of troubles for this highly compressed video format.

Correct. Besides the usual troubles inherent in editing a temporally compressed format (few real bitmaps, mostly synthetic frames) you have the fact that XviD is, frankly, bug infested. I'd convert them to some other format that's all real bitmaps (Quicktime Component, MJPeg, uncompressed RGB....anything but Indeo, DivX, MPEG etc.) do your edits then export to your destination format.
