Post by kdhoward83 »

I get this error whenever I try to play/preview any project with sound:

"A device ID has been used that is out of range for your system"

Error code: 19711:9:3

Anone have any idea how I can fix this? I tried a fresh re-install and I have the lastest drivers... audio on the computer works fine.. HELP!

Complete system specs in your profile please. Without this we're shooting blind. Full hardware & OS specs, audio card if any (embedded audio type if not), capture cards etc. etc.

It sounds like a problem with the audio card or drivers, but without more info....

And above all we need the properties you are using in your project, which will also help point in the direction of where your problem might lie. Right click on one of the files in the timeline and copy down its Properties. And also tell us something about your work flow -- source of the video files and also audio files if you have added any separately; whether they are all from the same source; what editing you have done to them and such.
