Where does it make the cut?

Where does it make the cut?
Seems like I've had inconsistent results with this: When you're going to make a cut to split a clip in two, if I advance the video one frame at a time until a certain frame is in the window, when I click on the scissors icon does it cut the clip just before or just after the frame that is being displayed? This is in VS10+, if that makes a difference.

Hi
If you are looking at a discrepancy of one frame.
Be aware that the first frame in project is numbered 00
The second 01
And so on.
If you have a 5 frame clip, when viewed in clip mode will indicate 5, at the end of the last frame.
When viewed in project mode will indicate 4 at the start of the last frame.
Clear as mud
Clip mode will indicate one frame different to project mode.
Are you bothered about one frame?
