Plz help me with this: fading to a black screen at the end

Maybe I don't have the touch with VS10, but couldn't find a way to fade to black at the end of my daughter's birth. In Pinnacle it was just to put a fade-to-black transition in the final part of the last clip, but in VS10 I need to have two clips to put the transition in between... Moved from Pinnacle because it is very resource consuming, and VS10 has proved be good, but I think it is not as intuititive as I would like to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi

One way is to add a 'Colour' clip from the library.
Any colour you like. (Black)
Set the duration for say 10 seconds.

Use cross-fade transition between your video and the colour clip.
