MF5 won't capture from a Theater 550 pro PCI-E tv card.

Post by PcCowboy2 »

First of all I'm new here.
I just bought and installed MF5 last night. I got it so that I can use it with my ATI Theater 550 pro pci-e tv capture card.
But all I get is the error message " Failed to connect to driver: ATI Stream Analog capture. [13001:3:3]

Also keep getting the MS error message that it has to shut down the program when I click on the capture video source icon.

Has anyone use this TV card with MF5 before?

DVDMF 5 is been tested with ATi All-in-Wonder with the latest ATi driver.

Have you checked the latest TV capture driver from ATi?

If that does not work, I think you can use ATi Multi-Media Center to capture the TV show then import into DVDMF.

Hope this helps.

For the record; my AIW All in Wonder PCIe's work....very nicely in fact.

So do the analog YUV, analog DV/DVCAM and IEEE-1394 DV/DVCAM capture engines for my RT.X100 realtime boards.

First of all Ulead or ATI would have wirte a plug-in unlike PVR 150/250/350 and USB2 which can get the plug-in in order to make use of the card.
The ATI 550/650 are Hardware Based MPEG2 Encoder.
