asking a question but I downloaded VS*8.01 update but was wondering were do you load it to on your pc does it go into VS8 or just into a folder and open it from there, I know this is a dumb question but I am new at VS8 as I have had VS8se before and I have had problems trying to get a video in from my digital camera using a firewire, my pc is aright in the tech stuff eg plenty of harddrive space. any help would be great thank you

What worked for me - just park it in any folder, and open it. It will look for VS8 and append the necessary updates as required.

As Ron says doesn't matter where you download it to as long as it's on your hard drive, I set up a folder called "Downloaded Drivers and Patches" and download everything to that (not only Ulead) so I always know exactly where to find them for back-up or should I need to run them again.
