Dark screen in preview Clip on Videostudio10

Scuse me for my english (i speak french)....
I have a problem : when i want to see a Clip with Videostudio 10, the preview screen is black but i have the sound. If I play the Project, no problem or when I put a filter on the Clip no problem too.

I had VideoStudio 8 and with this version I don't have this problem.

My PC is Pentium 4 3G on mainboard MSI 875P Neo, 1024 Mo Ram, Nvidia 256Mo GT 6800, Monitor 19"Wide connected by DVI, Xp Pro Sp2

Go to 'Preferences' and change the setting from 'Dual Head Device' to 'Preview'.

I have changed to preview in the preferences but no effect on my problem.

Is this just at the capture stage, or during editing?

Just during editing. Only for Clip (not for project).

What are the properties of your clips?

Try playing your clip in Media Player and see if it's black there too. If it is, then it's most likely your video card Driver needs updating. Either go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest Driver for your video card, or, if there's no info there, find out the manufacturer of the video chip, DXDIAG will display it for you, and download and install the latest WHQL certified Driver.

My Clips are DV Type 1, but the same problem is on the samples of VS10 and on clips with DV Type 2

Note : the problem occurs with VS8 on the samples but not with my clips.

I'll go to lost all my hairs !!!

In few days, i'll test VS10 on another computer !!

I had no problem on capture (i've seen picture and listen the sounds). I have no problem when I play all project. The problem occurs just when play a Clip in editing mode without filter (with an effect filter the problem disappears !!)

With Windows Media Player there is no problem.
