Full screen?

Hey!
When I have done a dvd with menus and everything, I don´t get the full screen in my dvd player but when I look in my computer it´s good.
Anyone who have the same problem? A litte bit on the sides is missing.
It´s not good when I´m finished a dvd whit subs on and the subs are missing=( Can I do something to get the full screen om my TV?

There in the overscan area, a regular tv doesn't display the full picture. It's about 5% of the video.
