My soure window is black

When I play my video dv encoder 1 in source window the screen is blank but audio is ok. If I stop playing can I se my pictures. Play again and it is blank source window . Captured with msp8. When it is on timeline it plays ok in prewiew window. Playing it in DWS2 is ok too. ??

What is the Preview target set to? Is the hardware overlay configured to go to an external device through a Video Out port?

No other external device.
It is only in source window I not can se pictures

You may not be using an external device, but is the hardware video overlay configured to go to a Video Out port (Composite or S-Video)? This is usually configured in the Display applet in the Control Panel, or sometimes in the BIOS.

I disable "Play lokal" in Hauppauge WinTV2000 and then it woks.
