Urgent Help Needed To Finish A Project!!! (Split Audio??)

Post by Boydie »

I have nearly completed a project but need some help!!!!

I need to insert some scenes into the beginning of my project

Here is the problem......

The project has some SPLIT AUDIO that has been matched to some different video clips inserted into the time line (giving the effect of a different audio track to the video)

I now want to put some titles at the beginning but I am worried that if I put the video clips in as titles it will move the VIDEO clips but not the SPLIT AUDIO - therefore putting all of my carefully synchronised audio "out of synch"

I could manually line everything up again at the end but is there a way to LINK / LOCK the SPLIT AUDIO with the new video I have put in the timeline so that they will always move together??

I would like to get this project completed today so any help would be much appreciated!

The only way I know how to do that is to open a new projects and render the split audio and videos into new clips and then bring the new created clips back into your project.

I am really surprised that there is not an option to link clips on different lines together (e.g. linking audio to clips, linking titles to clips, linking overlays to clips etc.) so that they always move together

Is there really no way to do this in VS10+ :?: :?: :?:

You need to enable the Ripple Editing feature. This will lock the selected tracks.
