Using VS10+ I’ve successfully captured a still jpeg from a video clip into my VS10+ library, but how do I copy and paste it into a photo folder I made on my hard drive?

It should be in your VS working folder (File > Preferences) but right click on it in the library pane and at the top, it should give the name of the file and the location. You can rename it if you want and then transfer it to your other folder the same as you would for any other file.
