VS10, Is there a way to save menu templates?

Post by Machineman »

Is there a way to create your own menu template and save it? Sometimes the program locks up and exits while burning. Then I have to set up and re-create the menu and disc parameters from scratch. It would be nice to be able to save my progress just in case.

After building my menus and previewing them, these days I normally close the burning module before moving on to the final page of the burning module. This triggers the program to save the project up to that point. Then you reopen the burning module, and it re-loads the project and the saved menus. That way you can move on to the final page and burn your disc (or ISO image of Video_TS folder) knowing that if something happens in the actual burn and the program freezes or closes, your project up to that final point has been saved...

What name does it save it as? How about if I close it and do a different project then try to go back to it again? I noticed that everything uses the .VSP which is confusing me. Will it be part of my editing project?

thanks, I just got VS10 and the authoring strategy is a bit different then my old VS7 with MF3.
