Fatal Error on Forum

Post by jchunter »

Several times today I got the following error message on this forum:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 184320 bytes) in /var/www/html/EN/includes/template.php(127) : eval()'d code on line 111

Anybody else get this message?

Yes. It's obviously a server glitch or something. First time it happened, I closed my browser and reopened, and the problem went away for a couple of minutes. Then it happened again. First time it happened, I had hit the button to post a reply. The second time was just when I was selecting the next message to move on to. It has been OK for over 15 minutes now, though...

Rats, I had it just now when I tried to filter the pages with new posts since my last visit. Just repeated the request and it went :?:

My PC is doing that heaps on this messageboard. I just hit REFRESH once or twice and it fixes it.

It's a larger problem than ULEAD anticipated.. It's an all of a sudden use in ULEAD Video products because Pinnacle failed., big time. Kudos to ULEAD..!!! The boards can't handle it!!

I'm surprised that nobody has blamed MPEG2 for this problem yet!

So far it's only happened once to me, last night when I first tried to access, this specific topic.. I though it was a joke that JC had posted, until I was able to access it...

I agree with MD, Ulead needs to reboot the servers. Heck they need to do a bit more then that, but that's dreaming...:)
