Trouble importing DVD video disc

Hello. Can anyone help?
I'm having trouble with videostudio 10 plus
When I import a DVD disc into vs10 timeline and when it's played back as a clip it's fine. It's when I want to playback the whole project I get an audio problem.
I can hear crakling in the background when there's a noise or someone talking(it's only when playedback using project NOT clip).
I have tried and put it onto DVD and playedback in a DVD player but the audio noise is still there.
I've set all the settings as I should but with no luck.

Are you importing as per the tutorial here:
