I have version 9 and was trying to send an e-mail to ask if there is an upgrade price, as opposed to the full $59-. I'm unable to send a support e-mail as it says my registration number from version 9 is already registered (I know that!).
If anyone can answer the question above I would appreciate it. Also, is there anything new with this version that makes the upgrade worthwhile for the average user. Some of the new features didn't look like they were the type of things I need or would use. Thanks all!
Version 10?

$59 is the upgrade price for v10 Plus. The full box price is $99.
I don't see an upgrade price for v10 basic, but then it's $10 more than the v10 Plus upgrade so why bother?

Is it worth upgrading
Thanks for the pricing info. I'm trying to better understand if there is anything significant over version 9 that will benefit the type of DVD's I make. New and wonderful transitions, or other effects, or ease of use?

In 10 Plus multiple overlay tracks let you do more complex video overlays for one. It's also better laid out, has improved and new effects and has higher end HD support. IMO it's very much worth the update.
I'll be buying it after my trial works out even though I already have MSPro8; you don't need a bulldozer for every landscaping job

VS 10
I downloaded the trial also, but it's VS Plus. Right now I have VS 9. I'd rather not spend $150 on the Plus version, so given that I wonder if it's worth buying VS10, or staying with 9. The overlays aren't a bid deal to me, but I'm not sure what else is different that I might be interested in. I didn't see a trial for VS10 (without the plus).

VS10
I was just looking at the purchase info for VS10. I'm not sure if I'm interested in upgrading yet, but if I have VS9 currently is the cost $59? I don't believe VS9 is a plus version, that's why I'm not sure.
I would be interested in hearing more from those who upgraded and whether they think it's a worthwhile upgrade.

Version 10 is the very first to come in two flavours: vanilla flavoured VS10 and tutti frutti VS10+. In other words, all previous versions only came in one form. There is no such thing as VS9+, only VS9. And yes, if you have VS9, you can buy VS10+ for the upgrade price of US$59. And IMHO, it is worth it -- though if you don't contemplate using multiple tracks or doing fancy things with HD video, VS9 is still an excellent program.
