Chrome text wipe

Ever seen that effect on chrome text were a shiny vertical line starts at one side of the text and wipes accross the text? How would I do that in Cool 3d Production Studio? I am using the free trial for now, but, will be buying this one ..

The Madness Plugins III for COOL3D will do as you described. The 6th preset of the light bulb effect moves the vertical line of lighting across the object, text, model, etc... horizontally. At Ulead's site they have a vertical path example. Also notice the lighting conforms to its passing object which helps intensify the effect.
