Ok Peter

I will give the process a go. I may be a bit busy today.

In return please, please post the properties of the imported files prior to rendering.

Ok Peter

I had no problems.

My source DVD was created using Video Studio probably VS 8 may be 9?

The Dvd consisted of a play first video 12 seconds.
The main movie 00-30-27-10
A slide show 00-06-40-00

I used ‘Insert DVD-DvD-VR
After Parsing DVD
I selected the Titles, Three in all and then selected Import

The three files were saved to my working folder with a thumbnail being inserted to the timeline.
The properties for the first video showed:-

MPEG files
24 bits, 720 x 576, 25 fps
Lower Field First
(DVD-PAL), 16:9
Video data rate: 6000 kbps
Audio data rate: 224 kbps
MPEG audio layer 2, 48 KHz, Stereo

Now I Share Create Video File
I do not want or need to change the properties so I select —Same as First Video Clip

This rendered the three files into one using the properties of the first clip. The process took about 10 minutes.
If your render process is not relatively fast then you may be changing the file properties.

The total time of the project and the rendered file was exactly the same at 00-37-19-10

I played the four files using several media players on my pc.
There is no indication of any quality problem or out of sync’ audio.

One thing, your settings above indicate 35000 frames/sec, I assume this to be a typo error.

Thanks for you help Trevor, I did exactly the same as you and it still came out corrupt ,
However I did it sucessfully by rendering it in just PAL-DV instead of PAL DVD and it worked fine,
I cannot understand why it works fine in all rendering "modes" in VS9 but not 10 using exactly the same clips and settings ,
There must be something on my computer that it intefearing with VS10 and not VS9 which is weird but possible I suppose as I notice the project made in VS9 are not compatible with VS10 so there obviously is a difference.
