Changing XP so that it displays more thumbnails
If I click on a folder in Windows XP that contains photo files like JPEG,TIFF,BMP I get the option to see each files as a thumbnail. Is there any way to get also display as thumbnails created by the different Ulead products?

Not that I'm aware of, but if you bought any recent version of PhotoImpact you should have Ulead Photo Exploer as a bundle. That's one of the better photo browsers around, and it also handles video files.

I'm not sure if this is what you're asking, but I do notice that XP will display thumbnails for Ulead's UFO files.
In Windows Explorer, click on the far right file looking icon to change the view to Thumbnail. Then image files should be displayed as thumbnails.

I have a similar issue except in my case I do know how to change View to Thumbnails. I'm using PhotoImpact 12 on a Win XP Pro SP2 32-bit system.
My issue began with a malware infection. I cleaned the PC and have verified that it is clean. Ever since this infection though, PhotoImpact would only open if I right-clicked on a jpg or other image file and selected "Edit with PhotoImpact". If I tried to open PhotoImpact outright it would open then close immediately. So I uninstalled and reinstalled PhotoImpact and that corrected that issue. But I've noticed that since the reinstall, all .ufo files show as icons not thumbnails. I got very accustomed to seeing them as thumbnails and want this function back. I have tried unassociating ufo files with PhotoImpact and reassociating them as I saw in another forum post but to no avail. Any ideas?

Look at the screenshot I posted above. It shows how to change the view of icons on Windows Explorer. Just open a window, for example your My Pictures folder. Then at the top, locate menu icon looking like the one in my screenshot. Hover your mouse over it, and it should say Views. Click on it and you should get the same options as shown above, including Thumbnails...
