Is anyone else hitting this problem....
If I insert an Image (.JPEG) to the timeline in VS8 the duration is set to a whole second (eg 3.00). You can then edit this duration - including the fraction part.
But on my installation the fraction jumps from .24 back to .00
I am using VS8 (downloaded 'Upgrade copy purchased Oct 2004) and the problem occurs both with 8.00 and the patched 8.01.
Opersting system is Win 2000, SP4.
It happens both with my own stills and the ULead sample.
And it happens on both my PC's (I did a new install on a different machine for comparison.
ULead Tech Support say they cannot reproduce....

Not really sure of the question; if the answer is irrelevant just ignore it.
Something I did not really understand until I got into video editing: the numbers after the second count are not fractions of a second, but frames. If you are operating in PAL format (as I am) then video has 25 frames per second. After 2 seconds/24 frames comes 3 seconds. (2:24 => 3:00)
