i didnt
i didnt actually submit a video, i thought about it, but i didnt.
o ya, and i think that the game was actually really funny, not not funny. i considered it a lot more than funny than most of the others. it also said in the rules that u dont need a really funny movie, whether it a "a ittybitty chuckler or a laugh out loud", etc. i was surprised to see that only 30% of the grading is funniness.

funny
Maybe, its just that there are some funny videos there. I looked at the paper man videos again and they are actually very funny. Some videos are not funny at all. I think the marking is fair, 30% for funny is fair enough. A funny idea is all well and good but how the idea is implemented is very important. I suppose its down to taste, what some people find funny, other dont. Thats why it will be very interesting to see the results.

personally
I have been watching this competition closely. The winners were supposed to be posted on Oct 1 In my country if this never happened on the advertised date they would be sued. Are they running a rort? I for one will never enter a competition run by them if they can't forfill their side of the agreement. I have to admit every entry is ToTal ***, so that could be the reason why. They have extended a date on another competion through lack of applicatants... I wonder why.

I didn't have time to enter myself, I did create something a couple of years ago that was worthy of an airing on "You've been framed" but unfortunately no longer have the vsp file so couldn't use it.
I think it's great that users were given the opportunity to show off some of their work to fellow users. Its nice to see how others have been using this software.
I have sent a message to Ulead asking for a link to the list of winners and hopefully we will get a response soon.
