Just installed ver.7se, and tried to join several .avi clips.
Joined ok, but result was a flickering movie.
Any suggestions?
I would like to get this ver.7 running before considering purchasing ver.10

Sorry, maybe I should have been more specific. The .avi files were already saved on hard disk, I was simply adding them to the storyboard.sjj1805 wrote:Check your Field Order.
Digital Capture is normally lower field first (e.g. from a camcorder via an IEEE1394 firewire cable)
Analogue Capture is normally upper field first (e.g. from a TV card)

Well, this time, can you be even more specific and tell us what the properties of the AVIs are: right click on one of them within Video Studio and copy down the properties here. Are they all the same in properties (apart from size, that is)? What exactly are you doing with them: any editing? Are you trying to produce a DVD with them or just joining them into one bigger AVI? What are the project properties you are using? What is your computer set-up and operating system?

Unless they were on the computer when you bought it - they got there somehow. If you want our help you must help us to help you.Mungindi wrote:Sorry, maybe I should have been more specific.
