This requires some planning before you start to capture the video and everything else to your computer.
1. Create a folder on your hard drive specifically for this project. When it is no longer required the entire hard drive folder can be deleted.
2. Create separate libraries for your video, audio and image files.
These can also be deleted when no longer required.

Actually, I did all that prior..
I have a project .VSP in a folder with clips, sounds etc but I think I remember deleting a project one time and when I would open VS, click file, the project.vsp was still there and in trying to delete it there, I kept getting all the "link not found" original project has been moved etc which was due to my deleting the .VSP and all artifacts in a saved folder..
this is what I was trying to avoid this time..
Strange that VS doesn't have a "delete project in the program itself..

Could be a bit dangerous if it did. Suppose you wanted to re-use any of your source material in another project.raygo wrote:......

For example, last year (or was it the year before?) I converted several Super 8 Films to digital. I wanted to give copies to various family members at christmas. Now I doubt my family would be interested in footage of my wifes relations and I doubt that my wifes relations would be that interested in mine.
For my wife, my children and myself we would want the whole lot.
Therefore these same video clips would form 3 separate projects.
If videoStudio automatically deleted everything after completion of project 1 I could have easily had problems with the next 2 projects.
