Video Studio 7 SE DVD/Fusion HDTV DVB-T Plus capture problem

Post by Jouko »

I’m having capture problems with my Video studio 7 Se DVD. If I go to “capture” and “capture settings” I can see my Fusion HDTV DVB-T Plus card in the “Source” menu, but I go to “Options”/”Video Capture Property Settings” and try to select from “TV tuner” “Country/Region” section “Australia” as a country, it is not available at all. There seems to be mainly European countries and US on that menu.

I have been trying to install Video Studio several different ways but so far no luck with this problem, also noted the control panel region settings before installation are correct.

If I try to capture from fusion HDTV card it is saying no signal available, and it is crashing. I think that happens because the country selection is wrong.

Just let you know I can capture TV and analogue video by using the Fusion HDTV own software.

I’m running win2000 SP4, abit NF7, AMD Athlon XP 2600+, Nvidia GeForce4 MX in board, 1 Gig ram and Digicard is FusionHDTV DVB-T Plus.

Not positive which one is Australia but picking a compatible country is fine. I'm pretty sure Australia is standard PAL, so is Britain. Try selecting that as your input.

Personally I'd just stick with the software supplied for capturing it usually works the best because it's designed to work with that card. Import the footage into VS8 after you capture.

Thanks thecoalman,

Yes I did try that also but all what I get is error, "No input signal or signal is unclear". Ok I think it is then better to stick with the software that is written to that hardware even ulead came with the Fusion HDTV DBV-T plus card.

Thanks for replay
