Now everything else seems to be working fine, and the FX thumbnail still shows in the VS9 Video Filters library, but when I click on it VS9 locks up, generates an error message and closes.
Obviously, I need to officially reinstall Boris Factory? If so, then I need to re-obtain the actual installer file. That file is nowhere to be found on my hard drive.
In C:\Program Files\Artel Software Inc\Boris Factory(tm) there resides ONLY: Factory Libray folder (which contains the effects - Classics, Cubes, Dissolves, etc.), 4 separate Using_Boris-Factory.pdf files in various languages, a Readme.txt file which is blank, and a file titled, DeIsL1.isu. No .exe file.
I tried simply copying the Boris Factory folder into VS9's vfx_plug folder, but that didn't work. Maybe I need to put only the Factory Library folder in the VS9 vfx_plug folder? Not sure.
My purchase receipt includes the original download site which has now expired. I emailed customer service via the link provided in my receipt, but wondered if anyone could suggest a faster way to simply re-obtain the needed installer file, or tell me how to manually get the effects (FX) thumbnail which refers to the Boris Factory program selection back up and running. Thanks!
