I have been encoding with divx 5.2 and Mpeg Layer-3 successfully, but I had noticed that it only lets me select the compression rate up to 56kbs. So I installed the latest version of LAME3.96. Now I have a whole lot of more options when I select Mpeg layer-3 as my audio compression. However, no matter which selection I make, I get the error "Unable to access the audio codec driver" Does anybody else have this problem?
