converting grayscale to B&W

Post by brucefl »

I do it, but never can seem to remember how I did it. I scan some photo's that in grayscale, but they always look better if they are converted to b&w. Sometimes I convert to true color, then split the cmyk.
I thought there was an easier way, and keep all the detail.?
(Don't mean the convert to b&w option in adjust/conver)

Do not work in B&W anymore, not for many years, but Photoshop:

might jog your memory.
