How many images can you put in one slide show that you create with version 4. Some user comments on Amazon say 10 max.
What is the real number with Version 4. I will not buy the product until I find out.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum
The 10 photo maximum is just a restriction of the trial version.
With the registered version you can have as many as 99 slideshows on one disc. For CD slideshows, there is a limit of 1900 photo and menu elements per disc. For DVD slideshows, the number of photos you can include is limited only by the capacity of the disc.
Just FYI, I'd recommend you test drive the trial version before purchasing just to make sure you're happy with the features and compatibility with you computer. The trial includes a very limited amount of content (menu's, etc.) and effects. If you purchase the registered version you get the full set of content and effects plus 45 bonus menu templates that can be downloaded from:
http://www.ulead.com.tw/ulead/survey/ca ... .cfm?fs=us
Note that these bonus templates cannot be installed in the trial version.
Lastly, if you purchase the software, fully uninstall the trial version and reboot before installing the registerd version.
Hope that helps.

Minimum CPU Speed
Mike, thanks for the reply. FYI- This is for my wife who saw her sister in law do a slide show on a Mac that was impressive.
My wife's system is a older Compact Presario with a 1.3 GHZ CPU and 356mb of RAM.
Will this work?
Thanks again for your answer and recommedation.

Re: Minimum CPU Speed
The basic system requirements are:Stoofpilot wrote:My wife's system is a older Compact Presario with a 1.3 GHZ CPU and 356mb of RAM.
• Intel® Pentium® 4 1.3 GHz Processor (Pentium 4 2.0 GHz recommended)
• Microsoft® Windows® 98SE, Windows 2000, Windows ME and Windows XP
• 256MB RAM (512MB recommended)
• 200MB of available hard drive space for program installation
For the complete rundown, point your browser to:
http://www.ulead.com/dps/sysreq.htm
Assuming your CPU is Pentium 4 and you have 200mb of available disc space, it appears that your system meets the minimum requirements but just barely. I see no reason why you couldn't use the software but again, try-before-you-buy is highly recommended

"99 slideshows on one DVD"
In Michaeltee's response to a question in this forum he mentions that you can put as many as 99 slideshows on one DVD. Mike, I'd like to learn a bit more about that. I've prepared about a dozen dps files and want to put them all on one dvd. How do I go about that?

Re: "99 slideshows on one DVD"
Actually I haven't used the program for several months but my recollection is, it's not a simple matter of loading a series of previously created dps files. Rather, you would create any number of shows during a SINGLE SESSION and then save them as ONE project to a dps file. If you want to add more shows at a later time, open your previously saved dps file and create/add them BEFORE closing the new session. Now, re-save the revised dps file and follow the above procedure if/when you wish to add more shows. In other words, you always need to build upon a previously created dps file and create/add your NEW shows to that file BEFORE closing and saving the session. Hope that helps.melkisadek wrote:In Michaeltee's response to a question in this forum he mentions that you can put as many as 99 slideshows on one DVD. Mike, I'd like to learn a bit more about that.
