After spending countless hours trouble shooting the flickering / pulsating problem with digital stills in slide shows with VS8 I have proof positive, at least for me, that VS8 has a problem. There have been numerous posts relating to this problem. If I create the same slide show in VS7, guess what, NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER!!! Ulead tech support will not acknowledge this problem (at least up until the last time I called). One of the biger reasons I upgraded to VS8 was the new cool transitions (I'm able to import the new transitions into VS7, pm me for details). If you're not experiancing this problem, then ignor this and feel lucky. But if you are having this problem, stay with version 7, at least for now.

i was dealing with a Tommy Chan over the same issue before xmas at Ulead.
He has never come back to me.
here is his email address!
tommychan@ulead.com.tw
perhaps more of us who complain might get somewhere.
I have also been investigating and it was recommended that Photos in CD/DVD (Magix) 3 deluxe can do slide shows better than anything that Ulead has to offer including DVD Pictureshow!
