Version 9 laptop 24 bits 720x480 4:3
Having some difficultuy with the sound quality of my voice narrations. Bought a microphone but the feedback seems impossible to get around. When I lowered the volume level, the quality of the sound is not acceptable. Any suggestions??

Are you using headphones instead of speakers?
I use a Sennheiser boomset;

but there much less expensive models out there.

I recently finished a project with extensive narration. I found that the VS recording was slightly garbled. I then recorded to Audacity, and exported that .wav to VS. It was an extra step, but well worth the trouble.
