Importing text for titles

Post by middlebury madness »

Ican't use cut and paste to bring in text from MS word. Is there a way for me to bring in large amounts of text ie for credits or class lists etc. without typing it directly into the title.

Can you explain why you can't use cut and paste - is there something wrong with your Programme ???

If you copy (or cut) from your text editor - then go to UVS and click on the 'Title' tab then 'DOUBLE CLICK' in the preview window as instructed - and then press 'Ctrl' and 'V' together at the same time, (standard Windows Paste function) does that not work for you for some reason.

BrianCee,

Thank you, I never use control shortcuts but I am finding that they are quite handy. There is so much that I know but even more that I don't. Thank you for saving me countless hours of re-typing.

Ctrl+C (copy) is another extreemly useful keyboard short cut as it allows you to copy text and pictures from virtually anywhere on your PC screen - for instance you can copy text directly from these forums using Ctrl+C and paste it into any other application using Ctrl+V .
