Fading an Image
I would like to take an image, fade it out and use it as a watermark. However I can't figure out how to do this. I'm using PhotoImpact 8.0
Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance!

Save as a PNG with transparency.

That transpaqrency only works within PI and the image your woking with. You can't create a transparent objects to include in other applications. You can trick people into thinking it is by using the same color background.
You can however createa transparent background where only the objects are visible see this thread. http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=830

Hi Coalman
yes that was me on the other thread that you helped!! Thanks!! In fact that is the image that I am wanting to make a watermark out of.
So are you saying that I cant make a watermark out of my logo without the white background...the logo I'm starting with is the one that I took the background off of (the other thread)
