Firstly if you have more than one Ulead product you have to run Boris once for each.
I have MSP7 MSP8 VS9 and VS10 and so had to run the Boris installer 4 times.

When it finds the directory path for the host application you may get a result like this:
C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{A6E71574-2126-4E95-816E-32B2411C94BA}\All\Target

You have to alter that to one of the following:
MSP7 =
c:\program files\ulead systems\ulead mediastudio pro 7.0
MSP8 =
c:\program files\ulead systems\ulead mediastudio pro 8.0
VS9 =
c:\program files\ulead systems\ulead videostudio 9.0
VS10 =
c:\program files\ulead systems\ulead videostudio 10

When Boris Factory has been installed then you will find ONE transition thumbnail in the FX folder.
That ONE thumbnail gives you access to the 100 extra Boris FX transitions. when using MediaStudio you can also save any modifications you make to a Boris FX Transition by clicking the 'add' button. By default the saved transition will appear in the 'Custom' folder but you can of course choose any other or better still create a folder of your own
