Playing a CD made by Movie Factory 4

Post by wilseyrose »

I would appreciate any assistance. I have two CD's made by Moviefactory 4, one by myself and the other by a friend. The one I made did not have any difficulties in the burning of the VCD. Neither disc will play on my system (Windows XP). When I click on it in My computer...I get a list of 6 directories. It will not play. What am I doing wrong?

One of the VCD opened up in windows media player but it said it needed VCD 2.0 player and please turn on PBC to show photos. Not sure what it is asking for. The one that I did had 6 video clips. 3 are fine and 3 have no sound and do not move through the video. It is like they are frozen. Thanks for the article.

Ahhhh....

VCD 2.0 is Super VideoCD, a whole other kettle of fish. Yes; a DVD player is necessary. Most will handle SVCD with no problems.
