On very early versions of PI when in Print Preview, from the toolbar Icon after setting up the printer for i.e. Printer name, Paper, quality etc or even with Custom selected the software remembered these settings even after closing and opening.
From about V6 on or there abouts every time you open print preview after say editing another image it reverts back to the Windows default setting.
This is a pain as having set the Windows default for general use using another printer re-selecting the printer for use with PI as well as the print setting for every image is very time consuming.
If anyone got any work around this I would be very grateful.

Many thanks for your input.
The printer is an Epson Stylus photo 950
I appreciate I can and have saved several printing profiles for printing various media.
The problem |I have is that every time time I want to print an image PI selects the Windows default printer, a laser.
What I would like is to save within PI 'user default settings' even if it was only during the session that PI was open so that I do not have to keep selecting the Epson.
PI does 'remember' things like Resolution, Image size, the last tool you used etc. but not the Printer, early versions did.
