I have a Hitachi MV580e video camera which does not have a firewire port unfortunately for transfer, These camcorders use the 8mm DVD ROM disks, As I am currently trying the trial version of the software I have had trouble reading the disks from my computer DVD drive into the software for editing.
Are there any reasons why the software will not read the information from the DVD ROM disk.
Any Help greatly appreciated as I like the look of the software
