Transparency problem

Post by kraki »

I read all the topics with transparency problems for ulead gif animator and tried all the suggestions for making the background of one gif file transparent, but I have had no success.
Here is the gif Image. Can someone say how to make the background transparent?

Did you try removing the background with the magic wand?

If your animation is transparent when you are working on it, then when you optimized and saved, did you have the transparency button on in the optimization tab? Image If it's not activated (pressed in) Image you will not get a transparent image. It will fill with whatever is shown as the matte color.

If you just click File and Save As or use the Save button to save as, it will use whatever the current setting is on the Optimization tab, and if that does not have Transparency turned on, it won't be transparent.

You have to click the Optimization Tab of the Workspace to see that.

Read the GIF Animator 5 Basics tutorial at my website. All the info is there. Click the link below.
