Ulead COOL 360

Post by ellen11 »

Hi,
I've been looking for a place where to post my question, and didn't find it, so sorry in advance that I posted it here.

I downloaded a trial version of Ulead COOL 360. I've been experimenting with it and it seems that movies that it produces in quick time format always come out with the same movie size 400 x 300 px. What I should do to make a smaller movie size? I tried to make images for panorama smaller, but it doesn't seem affect the movie size, but rather the movie quality becomes worse.

I would appreciate if you could help me to figure this one out.

Thanks :?

I don't think Cool 360 has that option. I suggest you may use a video editor to lessen frame size of your .mov file. :D

You lost me somewhere. Sorry. You are actually wanting to reduce the already very small frame size  ? What on earth for?

I have umpteen versions of Cool 360 (allways comes bundled with PI) and had a play with it once. Wasn't too impressed with what it could do. There are a lot better ways around to do what Cool 360 can do. If I want a 360 degree panorama, I would take a video camera and swing that around. Anybody watching that would mostlikely get dizzy too.

The image quality, if I remember correctly, is not that crash hot to start with. If you were to succeed in making the frame size smaller, you would have to look at it in a lot smaller size also and quality would drop considerably if you were to watch it at the same size you are watching it now.
