My music track keeps getting deleted

Whenever I delete a video track VS10+ indicates that it will delete any associated clips. Unfortunately it is deleting my music tracks even though I haven't really done anything to tie the two of them together. This is getting a bit frustrating since I have to keep adding the music track back to the timeline. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

If you have Ripple Editing enabled, that message will display. You have to disable any individual Ripple Editing tracks that you don't want effected by your decision to delete a video track. So, in your case, click on the icon to the left of your music track and it will gray out. The track will not now be deleted when you delete the video track. If Ripple Editing is not enabled, then the message won't display.
