EnlargeScreen

Post by Rich2Putt »

I am using VS10+

In the manual for VS9 on the top of page #37 there's a picture of the enlarge screen. For some reason I can not get VS10+ to look like that.

I can enlarge VS10+, but the clips/time lines don't show like in VS9.

Am I missing something???

Thanks.......

Hi Rich

I do not have the manual but have tried both versions and get the same screen.

Full screen viewing, tabs at the top (cannot access)
Navigation below the preview screen.

No problems.

What differences are you experiencing
You say (I can enlarge VS10+, but the clips/time lines don't show like in VS9.)
You should not see the timeline when viewing in ‘Enlarged view’

What is the resolution of your monitor?

Fill in your pc details from your profile.

Hi Trevor,

Let's see if I can explain this a little better.

Rather then the term "enlarge", I would like to see the larger screen for editing? You will see the preview screen along with the video clips from the project without the option to choose transitions, audio, etc....Best explanation is to see the picture in VS9 manual p#37 top.

I am at work so all of this is from memory.

The resolution is fine on the monitor. :D

Thanks..........

Rich,

Are you clicking on the icon to the right of the scissors? It should enlarge the screen..

Ron,

Yes I am aware of the icon to enlarge the screen. The screen I am looking for has only the video clip & the preview screen. The icon on VS9 was near/above the ripple effect section.

Check out the manual as I stated in my ealier post.

I think what you're looking for is on page 35 of the VS10 manual. The 'enlarge' button is located top left of the story board display and looks like the eject button on a DVD palyer. The screenshot is very similar to the screenshot on page 37 of the VS9 manual.

Thanks everyone.........

I found the solution. You only see the icon in Storyboard View.

Most of my work is in Time View or Audio View. Good reason why I couldn't find the icon..........
