Ulead MF4 Interface totally changed with patch 4.04

Post by Merlin_lll »

That rather nice interface of MF4 has totally changed after loading on the current MF4 patch. The shortcut to it became a quick drop shortcut. I now go via programs to get to the MF4 prog. I dont see the dvd and cd icons and the list of options for each,...have I chosen the wrong program to launch ? Is this change of interface normal ?
Go Start new project and nothing much to choose now except go Next...import video files and find that despite the patch it still doesnt want to know about my folder called DVD_RTAV_RoyalTournament1986 SP 1-10 for example.
Transferring vhs progs to PC I have hundreds now named as such awaiting ad removal and combining of same subjects then writing to dvd-r.
I installed the patch hoping that Ulead would recognise these. VideoReDo sees them !
If I place the Bup ifo and Vro files within that renamed folder into a folder within it just called DVD_RTAV Ulead then recognises the contents. Someone has written it to look at the folder name and not just contents !
How do I overcome this in the program ?

Which Current Patch are you referring to? The last patch was issued over a year ago.

Are you using DMF4 or DMF4 Disc Creator? When you go to start DMF4 (DC) are you clicking on the Desktop icon or by going to Start>All Programs? With the latter you can choose to go to ...DMF4DVD Authoring, which cuts right to the authoring tool, or down at the bottom is the DVDMF4 Launcher. This brings up the white splash screen.
