Can I stop the background music loop?

During my menus, I would like the background music to play once, then stop. Is this possible?

I'm asking because the music on my current project plays fine the first time, but during the second loop and every one thereafter, it hiccups a couple of times, so I wanted to just have it play once.

I dont think you can stop the audio from looping.

Its a shame that you have no control over the amount that the audio plays.
Thats not good, we should have better control.

Yes, I've read that but it doesn't help - it says the music will loop back after playing, regardless of the duration you set. It doesn't say if you can have it play just once and stop.

Why not just uncheck the motion menu option?

To keep the DVD interesting include a short pre-play video

You can make that pre-play video resemble your menu by going through all the motions to create a motion DVD menu and burn to the hard drive as described in this post:

Grab that video resembling your menu to use as your first play and make the necessary adjustments to the menu - ie. include the first play and then turn off the motion menu option.
