VS9 preferences/working folder

Post by SlimTex »

Open Project, then Tools/Create Disc, next, next, ... till I get to the burn disc. Am informed that there is not enogh room in my c:\Documents and Settings\(userid)\My Documents\Ulead VideoStudio\9.0. I have the option to clean out cache or change path in preferences. My working path in preferences is a decated disk for VS with 60 gb free. In the Preview tab, I am not selecting my system drive, but have added the dedicated drive and folder. I change the 'Hard Disk:' to be my dedicated drive, but this keeps on defaulting back to my C: drive. How do I correct this error?

The problem is that Ulead have inserted two working folder preferences you must change, but only seems to mention the first (which you have already found in File > Preferences). But the second is when you actually open the burning page. Click on the first of the icons in the bottom left of the burning screen (titled 'Settings and Options'), and select Preferences. You will see that down at the bottom it has the default working folder on your C: drive still selected as the *burning* working folder. Change this to your other drive and you should be right.
