crop time of project
if my timeline goes till 14:00 (14 mins), how can I make it stop sooner? my project is only for 4mins and I dont want the rest ot be rendered or attached to the video....how can i crop the time for the lenght of the project only?
Set the preview range in the preview window (F3 key for mark in and F4 key for mark out) to the portion of the video that you want to use. When you go to Create Video, select 'preview range' or something like that (I'm not at my editting machine right now) rather than 'Entire Project'.
Hope that helps.

houskat, when you say your timeline goes to 14:00 do you mean you actually have 14:00 worth of video, but only want to use the first 4:00 in a project?
If so, another way is to save the 14:00 project by a different name (using "save as") and then delete the portion you don't want NOTE: This extra project file is not large (only a few KB) because it doesn't make duplicates of the video files themselves.
