Hi All,
Total newbie question here.
Which of the Ulead products will allow adjustable speed video editing? I want to be able to speed up,slowdown,freeze, etc. Then overlay different audio, essentially little music videos for family..
I currently own Videostudio 10 plus, and at first glance this appears to be a total waste of money with regard to the above..
Any help very much appreciated, I am running out of money to waste trying to do this..!

Because of the number of additional video, overlay and sound tracks available in MediaStudioPro, you may be better served by that. Download a trial and see for yourself.
When it comes to speed up/slow down of digital video, don't forget that digital does not have tape speed setting. It will run at 25 (PAL) or 29.97 (NTSC) fps regardless. To slow down the action, the program needs to duplicate frames, for a speed up it needs to discard frames. Doesn't make for fluid motion. The interlacing of 2 fields/frame adds another (unfavourable) dimension to it.
It can be done though but don't expect broadcast quality.
