VS10+ Hangs Trying to Rip from CD

I wanted to add a track from a CD to my project. Ordinarily I would use some other program to rip it first, but since VS10+ says that it can directly read CD tracks, I decided to try doing it that way. Well, it hung VS10+ both times that I tried -- a solid hourglass and I had to eventually use Ctrl-Alt-Del and abort it with Task Mgr.

After that, I went back to MusicMatch to rip the track and then imported it into VS10 with no problem. But has anyone successfully used this feature?

I've used it plenty of times with no problem. You probably have a system conflict between multiple applications that perform the same task. In the same way that Video Studio may hang up during a burn if you have Nero or Roxio on your system, the same applies to capturing audio from your CD player.
