Thanks Ken and Piet for reply, I had seen the full version of VS10 at Image Tech, but they don't seem to have the upgrade from vs9 and it seem's silly buying the full version every year. I may be wrong but I have the impression you can only get thr upgrade from Ulead.

As you say Ken the GST kills it at 12.5%, never seen VS in Dick Smith's or Harvey Norman over here, and the cost of shipping kill's buying from Ulead direct.

Thanks

Thanks Ken & Piet, sorry late reply I tought I had put it through yesterday but not there this morning.

I did know about Image technology thanks Piet, I bought V9 from them, but they don't appear to carry the upgrades, seem's silly to pay out each year for the full version. Perhaps the upgrade is only available from Ulead.

I will see what the price is in Hong Kong on the way though to the UK.

Thanks guy's

Hi Alan
I'm I Christchurch.

vidicon64@yahoo.com

You are right Ulead software is very elusive, the retail outlets are generally useless here. I've only ever bought Ulead software from Imaging Tech. They have been pretty helpful in the past.

Cheers

I normally get my software by way of download and then back it up onto CD/DVD - together with receipts , serials numbers, copies of relevant emails etc. When purchasing Ulead software this way from the Ulead Shopping Mall you are also given an option to purchase a back up disc.

Other places you can download Ulead software include
Download.com
Tucows

Thanks for reply Piet, and thanks Steve for you comments, With all the problems people have had with downloads I am dubious to give it a try, but I may be driven to it.

They may have the corrupt file(s) corrected.

I reported the problem to Ulead http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 6182#76182.

Then Mr. Amigo2121 reported that he downloaded and installed with no problems http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 6374#76374.

Hopefully the ESD corrupt files have been rectified..:)
