Movie Factory 5 crashing.....

MovieFactory 5 crashes first after adding a movie then it crashed after adding chapters to the movie. on the error report, it came up with this

AppName: dvdmf.exe AppVer: 5.0.0.0 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 00011629

any idea on what might be wrong? i have barely been able to get this program to work at all before this.

You are probably feeding Movie Factory a bad video file. (It can be hard to tell, because a corrupt A/V file will often play-back OK.)
