It's Grandma Carol again, Is there a way to download a picture from a camera cell phone to VS 8? If so, how?
Thanks

First things first, does your phone use a media card such as a Memory Stick, SD Card or equivalent? Below are some pictures of each.

Another important question is, do you have bluetooth on your phone? If so, you can purchase a Bluetooth USB device like the one below, which means you can then Bluetooth pictures to a folder on your computer and then simply import the image using VS8

Bluetooth Dongle - Play.com
If you are unsure, please let us know your camera model and make and we can look it up.

Carol,
If you don't have bluetooth, get a simple "Memory stick to USB Adaptor" - about $5.
You plug your memory chip (from the cell phone) into the adaptor, plug the other end of the adaptor into a USB port on your computer, and, voila, it looks like a hard drive to the Windows Explorer.. Just copy the video file on to your hard drive.
